Easter Brunch

The day after the wedding we were lucky enough to get most of my side of the family together for Easter brunch. We are SO blessed with the incredible amount of people that came in just for the wedding. We cannot say thank you enough! :) Unfortunately some of them had to fly out early that day or had previous engagements so we missed them but we had a great time with those that were able to attend! :) Unfortunately my parents and Kimmy were not able to attend because mom became ill... poor thing stressed herself sick! I completely understand how she felt though... I had pushed myself nearly to that point too. I am convinced the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries we had our wedding night cured me! :)

Easter brunch was downtown Seattle at the WAC (Washington Athletic Club) and was delicious!!! They had my favorite, eggs benedict, and Andrew was quite excited about the Prime Rib. And you cant go wrong when they are serving you champagne with your meal and a little See's chocolate box for dessert (in addition to the huge dessert buffet!) A huge thank you to my Gramma and my Uncle Skip for Easter brunch!!! They did everything and it was so yummy! :) It was a wonderful Easter and it was so nice to have Andrew's parents, my new father and mother in law, there to get to know my family and where I came from! :)

We're Married!!

We are finally MARRIED!! I am now Mrs. Andrew J. Bromund... It sounds so weird to say! :) I am a wife now and he is a husband... such grown up titles! :) We do not have any professional pix yet, but I will post some as soon as we do! :)

Our wedding was one heck of a day! :) I started downtown Seattle at the Hotel Monaco (my favorite hotel in the city!) And Andrew started his day up at the Exec with the guys! The ceremony and reception was at the Rainier Chapter House of the Daughters of the American Revolution. This location was quite fitting for us since I am a DAR and Andrew is a huge history buff. This little gem of a place (which is a replica of George Washington's Mount Vernon) is in the capitol hill area of the city. The ceremony started nearly just on time (5:30) which I was totally shocked about! :) But nearly everything went off without a hitch. At least nothing major went wrong, so everything worked out! The food was awesome, the DJ was incredible... and the lights were SO FUN!!! I fought for those lights, probably the best money spent! :) I cannot wait to see pictures! :) Some of our best friends (Cj and Lauren) chauffeured us back to our hotel for the wedding night (Hotel Monaco again!) where we walked into a room covered in rose petals with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries (thanks to my cousin Yatie and her hubby Stan... the are such INCREDIBLE people)... We couldn't think of a better way to end the night! :) And last but not least we couldn't have done this without our incredible family!!! there was such a huge out of town turn out that we were shocked, we are so very blessed.

Emmalee & Bobett... two of my oldest friends, I had to include the picture. :)

This was the final dance of the night, I love this picture! My cousin Teal and his girlfriend are in the background with the camera and my little cousin/flower girl Jillian in front
(she had just changed into her Pj's... quite the little party animal!)

I am going to do my best at keeping his up to date from now on so our friends and families can try to keep up with us and we can keep a record of our life together. So please hang in there with us, I'm still trying to learn how this blog thing works... I need to spend some time playing with it! :)
