A new member of the family

Meet Gizmo!!! (aka Gizzy)
Our new little girl is about 11wks old here and a Yorkie, isn't she the cutest!?!?!?
She is proof that no good deed goes unnoticed. We got her because we rescued a couple of dogs running lose around our complex back in Sept. Andrew had the next couple days off so he took care of the two dogs and posted flyers around the neighborhood. Turned out our local vet recognized them and said they belonged to a woman that breeds Yorkies nearby. Her reward was cash or a puppy. Andrew, being the smarty that he is, chose the puppy! So we are the lucky new family to a beautiful Yorkie (potentially show quality, with papers!) completely free of charge. We had been looking into adopting another dog but she fell into our laps and we are SO thankful! :)

Gizzy's first family picture...the perfect addition before our baby boy!

The girls love Daddy time!!! :)

Even Suzie is a fan of her little sister! We caught her giving Gizmo a "bath" a couple days ago. And I noticed she got 3 of the "baths" today... I'll have to post pictures, Its pretty cute. (but difficult to capture in a picture) She takes care of her like its her own little puppy! :) Although there have been a couple of incidents Suzie is quite patient with her, doesn't hurt her, and lets her Gizzy know when she has gone too far! :) She also checks on her little sister when other people are holding Gizmo, just to make sure everything is okay. :)

A belly picture!

22 weeks! (18 more to go!)
Since I have not posted one yet its about time to show off the belly that I am growing. Just a couple weeks ago I finally went from "hmmm...she really let herself go" to "oh! she's pregnant!" I also notice strangers check out my belly all the time! Or really anybody I come into contact with always glances at it. I'm pretty sure most of them think they are being more sly than they really are. I find it humorous, It makes me smile because I am proud of this baby bump! :)

It's a bouncing baby boy!!!

This will probably be the only time it is ever appropriate to post a picture of his penis! (and I even questioned doing it now)

His face looking right at us and his strong spine! :)

His little face (the one eye looking right at us is a little creepy/weird to me, but the ultrasound tech assured me that he had two!)

Profile of our little peanut blowing bubbles... not really its the umbilical cord, but it looks just like bubbles to me!

And yes, we may have known we were having a boy when we went in for an ultrasound at 14wks (check out the date!) but the tech said she was only 70% sure... if you look at that picture would you have any doubt it was a boy? I couldn't imagine that thing going anywhere! :) But we decided to keep it pretty hush hush until we found out for sure at 18 weeks. :)
