Today we had yet another appointment and it went really well. We are finally progressing towards Peanut's arrival! I am 1cm dilated, 50% Effaced, and he's at a -2 station. (here is a great explanation of what it all means if you are curious! http://www.babiesonline.com/articles/pregnancy/effacement.asp)
We are aware that this really doesn't mean much of anything, doesn't mean I'll go into labor anytime soon...BUT it is a good sign that he is getting ready on his own. And of course our Dr. says "he could be here this week or next *insert nice long pause like he's done talking* or he could wait a few weeks" UGH! such a punk he is!!! :)
We also talked to him about the potential of a C-section and how I was nervous about it. So he goes on to say the usual "there is no way to know, there is nothing you can do about it, out of your control, yadda yadda yadda" all that good Dr. stuff and then says "There was one thing you could have done to help prevent a C-section" (take note of the past tense) and he looks at me and my puzzled face and then points at Andrew "you coulda married someone smaller... those broad shoulders, he's got C-section written all over him" Of course Andrew and I both crack up, our Dr. is such a smart ass! We got really lucky finding him. He's a lot of fun but he is really honest, he's wont make up an answer just because we want one he's not going to pretend we have control over something that we do not. Feels good to be able to completely trust the person that will hopefully be delivering our baby (lets hope we go into labor during the day or he is on call when our time comes!) Totally worth the weekly drive to Bellevue! :)

And just think, he is on the way now!!!!! So excited for you both. We cannot wait to meet sweet baby Troy!
None of the boys were particularly big, so don't worry about that. Matt was heaviest at 7.4, Mike 6.0 and Drew 6.14. They were all long though so he might be too.
Congrats, congrats, congrats Love...on not having to have a C-section...oh and of course on the new bundle of joy, Troy! WOOHOO! :D
